We are embarking on a special collaboration with soprano Elise Caluwaerts. Her beautiful voice, elegance, and the power of opera have inspired us to create a unique collection of jewellery that combines a touch of drama with the infinite elegance of opera.

We will celebrate the launch of this creative collaboration on May 23 at the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp, and we would love for you to join us in enjoying this special evening.

The jewellery Elise will wear is inspired by her and the movements she makes when she performs. A collection that exudes the finesse and power of her singing by playing with texture and light, jewels that, like Elise, we believe have a powerful voice.

Alongside Virago Orchestra conducted by Pascale Van Os, Elise Caluwaerts presents the second part of her residency project: II. Cleopatra. Cleopatra.

She pays homage to Women & Power around Cabanel’s Cleopatra painting, bringing it to life musically with Berlioz’s beautiful ‘La Mort de Cléopâtre’.

Julie Cafmeyer will also present a text around the powerful work ‘Integral is Extended’ by Anne-Mie Van Kerckhoven, and the orchestra will perform the rarely heard ‘Le Rêve d’Ophélie’ by female composer Mel Bonis.
