Crafted from 18-karat yellow gold, the ring is set with a 6 ct tourmaline gemstone and 9 brilliant cut diamonds for a total of 0,22 ct.

About diamond
Also called the forever stone, diamonds have a long history as beautiful objects of desire.
They are best known for their white colour but can come in all different colours. The name diamond comes from the Greek word ‘Adamas’ meaning unbreakable. With a hardness of 10 on the Mohs scale they are the hardest known material on earth: 58 times harder than anything else found in nature.
Diamond is the birthstone for April, symbolizes infinity, and supposedly grants their wearer peace, richness, and happiness in love.

About tourmaline
Nicknamed the rainbow stone, tourmaline’s colour ranges from rich reds to pastel pinks, intense emerald green and deep blues; giving tourmaline one of the widest colour ranges of any gem.
With a hardness of 7 to 7,5 on the Mohs scale; tourmaline is perfect for use in jewellery.
The gem’s name comes from the Sinhalese (a language of Sri Lanka) word ‘Turmalli’, which means “mixed gems.
Along with opal, tourmaline is the birthstone for October. The gem has a reputation for protecting against fear and jealousy while promoting creativity.
