We will celebrate the launch of this creative collaboration on May 23 at the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp, and we would love for you to join us in enjoying this special evening.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The jewellery Elise will wear is inspired by her and the movements she makes when she performs. \n\t\t\t[vc_column_text]Alongside Virago Orchestra conducted by Pascale Van Os, Elise Caluwaerts presents the second part of her residency project: II. Cleopatra. Cleopatra.<\/p>\n

She pays homage to Women & Power around Cabanel’s Cleopatra painting, bringing it to life musically with Berlioz’s beautiful ‘La Mort de Cl\u00e9op\u00e2tre’.<\/p>\n

Julie Cafmeyer will also present a text around the powerful work ‘Integral is Extended’ by Anne-Mie Van Kerckhoven, and the orchestra will perform the rarely heard ‘Le R\u00eave d\u2019Oph\u00e9lie’ by female composer Mel Bonis.[\/vc_column_text]\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>[\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column css=”.vc_custom_1513353662054{padding-top: 1px !important;}”]
